A strong Pacific storm will move inland to our north, bringing locally heavy rain to Northern California with an atmospheric river giving them a good soaking. Unfortunately, this system will remain well north of our area. Though the onshore flow will strengthen with gusty west winds returning along with cooler temperatures. Expect mostly sunny skies through Tuesday tomorrow with highs in the mid-60s. As the onshore flow strengthens, westerly winds will gust 15-25 mph during the afternoon. A weakening front will pass through our area on Wednesday, knocking highs back down into the upper 50s and lower 60s, warming Friday into next weekend as high pressure returns. Longer range continues to hint at a pattern change towards the middle of next week that could bring some precipitation into the region!
